In Guyana: Persons Claim Human Sacrifice Without Any Solid Evidence

A strange and bizarre case is unfolding in the South American nation of Guyana as persons believe a young girl who drowned in a pool was “sacrificed to spirits.” This claim is particularly bizarre because they did not state the modus operandi of the alleged human sacrifice or to which gods or demons the child would have been sacrificed. They just keep shouting that the child was sacrificed without presenting any hard evidence. And what’s worse is that content creators as far as the UK are joining the “fight” for “Justice for Adrianna Younge.”

In April 2025, a 10-year-old girl disappeared from a hotel pool while on a family outing. This happened around 2 PM. An alarm was raised. Police followed a lead that the girl left the pool and entered a taxi, but it turned out to be a false flag. By nightfall, thousands of persons turned up at the hotel full of anger and demanding the whereabouts of the girl. Journalists were also there. It was concluded that she was not drowned in the pool because the water was clear and she would have been seen. The pool was not drained or searched properly.

The next morning, around 9 am, an alarm was raised as the girl’s body appeared floating in the pool. Irate persons standing outside the premises scaled the fence and started shouting murder while breaking things up and setting the hotel on fire. The girl’s father plunged into the pool and took her out.

Admittedly, the sequence of events was a bit odd, if not somewhat suspicious. Why did hotel staff say that they saw the girl leave in a car? Why weren’t the cameras working at the time of the disappearance? Persons were also barred from entering the hotel compound early in the morning before the body was discovered.

The claims of human sacrifice, however, are a bit farfetched. How are humans sacrificed and to whom? We know of human sacrifice in historical times as a sacrifice over fire or cut with a knife. The Aztecs and various other groups believed in human sacrifice. Hinduism, however, which is the religion of the hotel owners, does not teach, condone, or encourage any form of human sacrifice.

An autopsy concluded that the girl’s death was consistent with drowning in a pool.
