Anyone who says that the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not a war between Muslims and Jews is highly mistaken or is trying to soft-soap the reality of the ongoing situation in the Middle East. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is rooted in religious differences. The Jews believe that they are the chosen people of God through selection when Jacob was born and God chose him over his brother, Esau. The Muslims believe that they are God’s chosen people selected through divine ordinance and identified through their faith in Islam. Muslims believe that the Jews “were” indeed the chosen people of God before the advent of Mohamed and the Koran, but that God broke His covenant with the Jews and gave it to the Muslims through the Koran and Mohamed. Muslims believe that God is no longer with the Jews and therefore they should not control the Holy Land. The Jews believe that the Muslims are in error and that God will never break His covenant with them, the Jews. Therefore, this war has more to do with proving whose side God is on than who owns and occupies a piece of land.

On Saturday, 13th of April, 2024, and going into Sunday morning, 14th of April, 2024, Iran launched over 350 projectiles including missiles and attack drones at Israel. This was in retaliation for an IDF airstrike at an Iranian consulate building in Damascus Syria. Almost all the projectiles fired at Israel where shot down thanks to Israel’s superior defense capabilities, the help of Israel’s allies, and the help of God. Jordan was one of the countries which helped defend Israel by shooting down Iranian missiles which passed through its airspace en route to Israel.

Most obviously, Putin knows that this would breach all international treaties and protocols, and spark a backlash of catastrophic proportions. The possibility of Putin making use of his nuclear arsenal in the war against Ukraine grows greater by the way, and Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic, which has been fighting alongside Russia, has been pressuring Putin to engage the use of tactical nuclear weapons.

There will be no winner in the Russia/Ukraine war, regardless of the outcome. This war is a catastrophe of monumental proportions which is unfortunately being facilitated and cheered on by world powers which could easily put an end to it. Putin has portrayed himself to be a heartless criminal on par with the likes of Adolph Hitler. What’s ironic is that Russia had played an instrumental role in helping to defeat Hitler during World War 11.

According to a Human Rights Expert, Volodymyr Zelensky, embattled President of Ukraine, may have committed Human Rights abuses on the citizens of Ukraine when he closed the border to all “fighting age” men. Zelensky basically forced men and boys between the ages of 18 to 60 to stay in the country and face the Russian assault whether they liked it or not. And this, aside from being immoral, may constitute serious Human Rights abuses.
