As Russia continues to face major setbacks and heavy losses in its bid to annex parts of Ukraine, the United States has issued a strong warning to Putin not to use nuclear weapons. Most obviously, Putin knows that this would breach all international treaties and protocols, and spark a backlash of catastrophic proportions. The possibility of Putin making use of his nuclear arsenal in the war against Ukraine grows greater by the way, and Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic, which has been fighting alongside Russia, has been pressuring Putin to engage the use of tactical nuclear weapons.

In a recent televised meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi put pressure on Kremlin to end the war with Ukraine. “I know that today’s era is not an era of war, and I have spoken to you on the phone about this,” Mr Modi told the Russian president.

How old does he look? Like a child right? Good guess. And that’s what Putin is all about: throwing children into harm’s way. Putin is always engaged in a war, whether it be in the Middle East or right home by the border with Ukraine. And he needs more lives to sacrifice in these wars.

There will be no winner in the Russia/Ukraine war, regardless of the outcome. This war is a catastrophe of monumental proportions which is unfortunately being facilitated and cheered on by world powers which could easily put an end to it. Putin has portrayed himself to be a heartless criminal on par with the likes of Adolph Hitler. What’s ironic is that Russia had played an instrumental role in helping to defeat Hitler during World War 11.
