On September 11th, 2001, I was still a teenager. I was sitting on my couch watching television. I was waiting for the Stock Market Report to come on, but I was amazed to see something totally unexpected. I saw a plane flying into one of the Twin Towers in New York City. There was a billow of black smoke. The plane exited on the other side of the building. A few minutes later, another plane flew into the second tower.

What the hell was I looking at? That same afternoon, I was to learn that it was a terrorist attack against the United States. It was allegedly masterminded by Osama Bin Laden who appeared to have made a video taking credit for the planned attack.

Then President of the United States, George W Bush Jr., was criticized for using the 911 attack as an excuse to invade and destabilize Iraq.
